Appliance service and repair is a new service to Art’s Furniture & Carpet, and it was a natural fit since appliance sales are a small but growing part of what we do.
Geoff Benson specializes in appliances at Art’s and recently completed the factory-authorized certification training for all of our appliance manufactures: Amana, Maytag, Whirlpool and Speed Queen.
Repair Services We Offer
With this factory certification, Geoff performs all our in-house appliance repair services, both warranty work on appliances we sell, and non-warranty work on most other brands of appliances. For products under warranty, coverage will vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Repair Service Limitations
We do not currently offer refrigeration repair unless it is cosmetic, as we do not have certification for heating/cooling or refrigeration issues. We are happy to refer you to a reputable service source.
Appliances Repair Costs
Appliance repair costs will vary depending on manufacturers parts costs and the labor time required to repair the issue.
Art’s Furniture & Carpet charges a flat fee, on an hourly or half-hour basis to come and assess your needs. If your appliance repair quote is beyond what you are wanting to put into your current machine, and you choose to purchase a new appliance from us, we will waive the repair assessment fee.
